STARTX BLANK SCREEN RASPBERRY PI INSTALL
Ideally, I would like to make it work on Wheezy, but I just can't figure out why it won't work! Please help me someone!Ĭode: Select all / $ sudo apt-get install tightvncserver I then tried Arch Linux, and couldn't manage to get a desktop to appear, even though I followed a guide to install lxde and run it, I got to the last stage and startx still wouldn't work! I have re flashed the SD card multiple times, used different SD cards, changed the power supply, used multiple different tv's (read it might be an issue with the tv resolution, tried adjusting that too though), I tried updating it too, and nothing I do will make it work! I don't have a clue why it does this, I have read a couple of other people mentioning this problem, but I can't find an answer. All it would let me do is right click, and switch desktop, the internet browser wouldn't work and neither would any other options. The white Raspberry wallpaper loads, but no desktop icons or menus or anything. I get to the initial settings screen, at first I didn't change anything, clicked finish, logged in and typed 'startx'. It turns on, the lights start flashing, it seems to be okay. So I am hoping you guys will be able to help me, I have formatted an SD card, used the tool to write the Wheezy image file to the SD, put the SD into my Pi and then connected ethernet, hdmi, wireless mouse and keyboard, and power. I was up till 2AM last night trying to make it run the graphical interface, but cannot make it work Hello guys, I finally got my Raspberry Pi yesterday! But STILL haven't managed to get it to work properly!
